Clean guests’s rooms
- Dusting the surfaces including furniture, lamps, sofas, tabletops and curtains
- Scrubbing and mopping the floors
- Vacuuming carpets and furniture
- Emptying trash and placing new liners in the bin
- Wiping electric appliances - TVs, remotes and other gadgets
- Cleaning washrooms, and scrubbing marble floors and tiles - make sure not to leave behind any water stains
- Cleaning mirrors, glass surfaces and windows & making it spotless
Maintaining overall cleanliness in the premises
- Vacuuming carpeted stairwells, front office desk and other common areas
- Ensuring proper lighting in the staircase, hallways, elevators and common washroom areas
- Keep attention to minute details - cleaning and sanitising common areas like washrooms with cleaners and disinfectant sprays
- Timely check on elevator buttons - wiping them clean and ensuring it's properly functioning
- Keeping chairs, tables and other furniture in the lobby clean
Responding to guests' requests
- Maintaining a friendly yet professional tone with the guests, responding to them promptly and ensuring meeting their needs are met in a short period
- Keeping follow-up on the additional inquiries by the guests
- Politely declining any request if it is against the hotel policy
Maintaining inventory of essential supplies
- This includes bed linens, coffee supplies, stationery items, laundry bags, towels and washed clothes along with cleaned supplies like sanitisers & gloves, or as required by the guest
- Lobby or front desk requirements like magazines, brochures, luggage racks and other cleaning supplies in the common area

Qualifications
- High school Diploma
- Any relevant course in housekeeping or any other related field
Certifications
