It is relatively a new dessert that has already gained its popularity it the USA but it still hasn't been that recognized in India.

We are aiming for the sweet spot between nostalgia of memories of licking the beaters from your bowl.

 

The COVID-19 Pandemic really affected the world in such a way that people have accepted this as their new lifestyle. For us, the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Lockdown opened up a ton of opportunities to start something on our own. Yes, we were totally aware of the fact that in the COVID environment where people were even hesitating to be with each other, how can an eatery be a good idea to start with? Well, we took the first step towards it and implemented it to actually starting a small food-tech startup. It all started in July when five of us good friends and still students thought out to start something on our own. After 2 weeks of browsing, brainstorming, and cultivating new ideas, we finally landed on something called an Edible Cookie Dough. We noticed that it still hasn't been as recognized in India as it should have been. It was just an idea for us as we were enthusiastic and had nothing to lose initially. Slowly, we started to take things much more seriously and actually implementing them to start an e-commerce startup.

Then began the experimentations and how to actually move on with the idea. We divided the work into parts including production, finance, graphic designing, registration, and so on. After spending an ample amount of time in the kitchen, a final recipe was decided to move on with. Soon, the challenges rose as we needed to test our recipe with different people. So, we took the help of different shopkeepers to let people taste the product and fill out a small questionnaire accordingly. As people here in Delhi-NCR were still new to the fact of what edible cookie dough is, it was a difficult task to accomplish. But the response from the people, relatives, and friends was great so far. After making a lot of initial mistakes and after another three weeks, we were able to register as a partnership firm, finalize the recipe, the whole product, and everything. Being students, handling online classes, exams, a ton of assignments, it was always a challenge for us to start something while continuing our college work. But the whole journey for us was an inspiring and yet challenging phase of our lives.

It is for the generation that does not actually want to make cookies from scratch and have something delish and sweet. We further plan to expand the business more to capture a broader market soon. Currently, we ship Pan India but most people still don't know what edible cookie dough is, and we aim to target their sweet spot in the coming months.
