Gulab Jamun

Ingredients: 10 tbsp milk powder 3 tbsp refined flour 0.5 tbsp semolina 0.5 tsp baking soda 2 tbsp curd 2 tbsp milk 1 tsp ghee Oil for frying For sugar syrup: 1 cup sugar 1 cup water 2-3 cardamom pods 1 tbsp rose water Process: 1. In a mixing bowl, add milk powder, refined flour, semolina, baking soda, curd and mix well. 2. Make a soft dough, divide the dough in equal portions and shape like balls. The balls should be crack free and keep them covered with a moist cloth to prevent them from drying. 3. Heat oil/ghee in a kadhai and when the oil is medium hot, start frying the balls. 4. Fry the balls till golden. It should be equally fried on all sides. 5. Add them to hot sugar syrup and let them soak in for 15 to 20 mins. For sugar syrup: 1. In a pan, add water, sugar, cardamom pods, rose water and let the sugar dissolve on medium flame. Simmer till the mixture thickens.
