Holi mithai platter

"Holi"- The festival of colors , this spring  festival celebrated throughout India on the full-moon day of Phalguna.  For me Holi is incomplete without these sweets . Coconut Gujhiya  with the hint of bhang, Mawa Gujhiya and of course Thandai. As a child, getting to eat gujhiya was the only thing that made me exited about this festival. The smell of frying this dumplings made me always happy. Traditional gujhiya made from flour, and filled with Khoya/mawa but mine are different from it, one is made from flour and filled with coconut, sugar ,elaichi and a pinch of bhang and the other one is made with mawa and filled with nuts. I really feeling blessed right now because i am sharing my childhood memories with you all through Foodism. #EatClickShare
