My great grand mother was from Delhi and she taught my grand mother to make these Malpuas. And my grand mother made these on every special occasion, festivals and my birthday. I have literally grown eating tons of malpuas and the excitement of seeing them never fades, each time my mom makes it its like first love again. Finally, after all this while, I got my hands on this family recipe and couldn't wait to try them. And to my surprise it is so simple and tasted just amazing.
