Pragree

#eatclickshare Name of contestant : Priya Verma Dish name : pragree It is an authentic Sindhi dish. It has crispy layers and stuffed with filling of Mawa or Karachi halwa. Ingredients : Maida 1 cup Ghee 4-5 tsp Water as required for making dough Milk for fresh khoya Pistachio Walnuts Elaichi, jaifal Sugar 1 cup Water for chashni Method Mix maida and ghee then add water and make a dough not too soft not too thin. Keep it rest for 15 mins. Roll out into thin sheets as thin as transparent paper. Apply roux paste on it. Arrange one sheet on another . Cut into strips and then arrange one on another. At least 15-20 layers. Then cut into half and roll out. Fill the stuffing of khoya and fry it on low flame so that each layer will get cooked. Then add into 1 string sugar syrup. Serve it. Roux paste : Mix maida and ghee. Stuffing : boil milk till thicken and add dry fruits mix it and stuff in pragree dough
