Rusk pie ? ( umm ali )

Take one cup water, half cup sugar, saffron and orange food colour. Prepare a thin/light sugat syrup. Take 500 ml milk, add 1/4 cup, 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp cornflour. Mix well till there are no lumps. Strain this mixture and cook on low flame till it slightly thickens. Add 2 tbsp butter and mix well. Add 1/4 cup milk powder and vanilla essence. Mix well and keep aside. Take rusk and start assembling. Assemble rusk in the bottom of a tray. Pour sugar syrup. Add the prepared custard and spread out evenly. Add desicated coconut. Again repeat the same layering. To finish add cream and spread out evenly. Top with almond silvers, chopped nuts and tutti fruti. Chill for 2 to 3 hours and then cut and serve.
