  • 1 cup Yellow moong dal
  • 1/4 Cup Cooking oil
  • 1/4 Cup Jaggery/Raw cane sugar
  • 1 pinch cardamom powder
  • 1/2 Cup Water

Instructions

  • Firstly wash,strain and pat dry the moong dal.
  • Dry roast the moong dal.Once done grind it a fine powder.
  • Soak the Jaggery into 1/2 cup of water.
  • Take a small pressure cooker.pour 1/2 glass of water into it.
  • Now take a steel vessel that can be easily fit inside the pressure cooker.
  • Into that vessel mix moong dal powder oil cardamom power.Now gradually add Jaggery water into it.The batter should not be too thick nor too thin.
  • Now cover this vessel with aluminium foil and put inside the pressure cooker.
  • Now fix the lid of PC with weight on.Pressure cook it on high till 2 whistles.
  • Now once the pressure is released.Unwrap the vessel mix it well garish with chopped dry fruits.Relish & Enjoy😊
