Ingredients

  • Banana - 1
  • Peanut butter ( I use market bought - crunchy) - 1
  • Sugar/Brown sugar - very less (1/2 tbs)
  • Dates - 4-5 qty - this is the magic ingredient
  • Milk - 1-2 cup
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • Chia seeds/pumpkin seeds - for garnish.

Instructions

  • In a blender - add de-seeded dates, little sugar & some milk to make a smooth paste.Now add sliced banana, peanut butter, remaining milk and ice cubes (optional) - remember that dates, sugar & banana - all are sweet, so adjust the sweetness as per your liking.
  • Adjust the consistency of your drink by adding milk as per your liking - less milk for thicker smoothie & more milk for thinner. Totally up to you. TADA - ready ! Now garnish with chia seeds or pumpkin seeds.
  • Enjoy this smoothie chilled with your breakfast or as mid morning snack - it is deliciously satiating.
