- Sieve the flour and salt - add rava, ghee and mix well until crumbly - add water gradually to knead a semi tight dough - cover and leave it to rest for 30min
- Heat a tbsp ghee - add mawa - roast on low flame until aromatic - switch off and let it cool - once cool, add thandai powder and sugar and raisins and mix well
- Prepare a slurry of flour and water(2tsp)
- Roll thin discs of the dough - spread it on the mould - stuff one of sides with the filling - spread slurry on the edge of the mould - cover with another side of the disc and press the mould to seal the edge nicely - remove from the mould and deep fry in hot ghee on low-medium flame - fry golden brown, cool and store
