Almond orange pudding

  • Almonds
  • Milk
  • condensed milk
  • Agar Agar
  • vanilla extract
  • freshly squeezed and strained orange juice
  • sugar
  • Agar Agar

Instructions

  • Soak the almonds in water, De skin it and grind it with little milk to uniform paste.
  • Boil milk add the condensed milk, slowly add in the almond paste and when it slightly thickens add the vanilla extract and agar -agar.
  • Pour it into serving glasses and let it sit in the fridge once cooled. Meanwhile prepare the top layer.
  • For the to layer add the squeezed and strained orange juice to a pan. Add in the sugar, when it starts boiling add the agar gar and mix nicely. Let it cool a bit.
  • Pour it into the glasses set in the fridge on top of the almond layer and set them back in the fridge. Serve cold for you summer party.
  • Additionally you can serve it with a scoop of icecream or fresh fruits.

Notes/Tips

The Agar Agar works well only when the temperature of liquid is rolling boil, so bring it to rolling boil, if you are using agar agar. And be carefully to cool it before pouring over the almond layer. If it is too hot it will penetrate the Almond layer.
