Aloo tikki is a popular street food. It is a very easy and simple recipe. It can be prepared in very short time and tastes just awesome.

  • 1/4 cup Pohe
  • 2 tsp Rice
  • 2 boiled Potatoes
  • Red chili powder
  • Green chili
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • Garlic paste
  • Salt
  • Coriander leaves
  • Oil

Instructions

  • Take pohe into a blender jar and add rice.Blend both into a little coarse powder.You can use washed and dried rice of you want.Peel and mash the boiled potatoes.
  • Add red chili powder, green chili, coriander powder, garam masala, garlic paste, salt, coriander leaves, lemon juice and mix everything well together.Add blended pohe and rice powder and mix well.Roll the batter into tikki.
  • Heat up oil in a pan.Drop tikki in hot oil and shallow fry well from both sides.When lower side gets nice gets nice golden color, flip the tikki over and fry from other side too.When tikki is shallow fried well from both sides take it out into a dish.
