- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Flatten the potatoes between your palms and deep-fry in hot oil till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. To prepare spice mix, mix together salt, chaat masala, chilli powder and coriander powder in a bowl. Sprinkle the spice mix on top of fried potatoes while still hot and mix well. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
