- Wash the potatoes and peel them. Add potatoes in a bowl filled with water. along with 2 teaspoon salt for 10 minutes. Rinse the potatoes. Heat oil in a pan. Add the potatoes and fry on high heat for 2 minutes. Simmer the heat to low and and cook until potatoes are cooked through. Drain the potatoes on a plate. Press the potatoes gently using a potato masher. Drop them again in the hot oil and fry until crispy and golden brown. Drain the potatoes on a plate. Mix all the dry spices in a bowl. Sprinkle the masalas on the potatoes and mix well. Serve immediately.
