  • Apples - 2
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Water - 2 cups
  • Cinnamon powder - ½ teaspoon
  • Cardamom powder - ½ teaspoon
  • Baking soda - one pinch
  • Oil
  • Refined flour - 1 cup
  • Cherries (optional)

Instructions

  • Cut the apples in ring shape and remove the seeds. Keep the cut apples aside.
  • Now make a batter using milk,refined flour, water, cinnamon powder, cardamom powder and baking soda. Keep the batter aside.
  • For preparing the sugar syrup, take a deep bottomed pan. Add 1 cup sugar and 1½ cup water. Keep it on high flame and boil for 5-7 minutes. Keep the sugar syrup aside.
  • Now dip the apple rings into the batter and fry them in hot oil until golden brown. Then dip the apple fritters into the sugar syrup. Serve hot topped with cherries (optional).
