- Wash and clean rice with water.
- Soak the rice in water for 3-4 hours.
- Cut the ash gourd and remove the green skin and seeds.
- Nicely grind soaked rice, ash gourd and fresh grated coconut into batter (Without water).
- Pour the batter into a vessel and close it.
- Keep it aside for 7 hours/ overnight.
- Now add required amount of salt and water (if required) and mix the batter nicely.
- Prepare Dosa using batter and ghee in a tawa.
- Serve Dosa with chutney or chutney powder.
