Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dosa rice
  • 1 bowl Ash gourd pieces and inner soft part also
  • 1 cup Fresh grated coconut
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 cup Ghee

Instructions

  • Wash and clean rice with water.
  • Soak the rice in water for 3-4 hours.
  • Cut the ash gourd and remove the green skin and seeds.
  • Nicely grind soaked rice, ash gourd and fresh grated coconut into batter (Without water).
  • Pour the batter into a vessel and close it.
  • Keep it aside for 7 hours/ overnight.
  • Now add required amount of salt and water (if required) and mix the batter nicely.
  • Prepare Dosa using batter and ghee in a tawa.
  • Serve Dosa with chutney or chutney powder.
