  • 2 cup Ash gourd crushed
  • 1/4 cup Ghee
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 6-8 Cashew
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 5-6 Saffron strands

Instructions

  • Peel the ash gourd and grate it well.discard the seeds.
  • Take a pan add the grated ash gourd.
  • Dry all the water from the ash gourd.
  • Add sugar and mix well.
  • Add saffron.add ghee.
  • Mix and cook till ghee separates from the halwa.
  • Add cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Add cashew.The halwa is ready serve hot.
