  • Flour
  • Sugar
  • Ghee
  • Coconut
  • Oil
  • Rice flour
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Cardamom
  • Cloves

Instructions

  • Take a bowl. Add flour, rice flour, salt, ghee and mix everything well. Add water little by little and knead it into a soft dough. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes. Take a pan and add sugar and water to it. Stir the water till the sugar dissolves in a syrup and you get a 1-string consistency. Add cardamom powder to the syrup and keep it aside. Divide the dough in small portions and roll them into balls. Roll them into triangular puris and pin a clove to secure all the layers of the puri. Heat up oil in a pan and deep fry the puris till the colour turns golden brown. Dip the crispy puris in the sugary syrup and place them on a plate. Garnish with grated coconut.and cloves.
