  • For Red Sauce Maggi
  • Maggi
  • Chopped onion
  • Pureed tomatoes
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • Red chilli flakes
  • Mixed herbs and Oregano
  • Black pepper powder

  • Tomato ketchup
  • Salt
  • Water
  • For Sauteed veggies
  • Sliced babycorn
  • Sliced carrots
  • Mixed bell peppers

  • Butter
  • Maida
  • Milk
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Preparation of red sauce maggi In a large pan, heat oil and add chopped onions. Cook for 2-3mins until golden in color. Add kashmiri red chilli powder and cook for 10-15secs.
  • Add tomato puree, salt and tomato ketchup. Mix well and cover, cook for 10-12mins till tomatoes are cooked well.Add mixed herbs, red chilli flakes, black pepper powder. Add the masala packets and 2 packets of maggi masala e magic. Mix and cook for a minute
  • Add water and let it boil. Add maggi and cook until it is around 70% cooked. Do not dry it completely and do not overcook it. Keep aside for assembly.
  • Preparation of sauteed veggies In a pan, heat oil and add chilli flakes. Add babycorn, carrots and cook for few mins. Add the remaining vegetables, salt, black pepper powder and cook for 4-5mins. Keep aside to cool.
  • Preparation of white sauce In a pan, heat butter and add maida. Mix well and cook for few mins till the rawness of naida goes away and color is changed slightly. Add milk in parts and stir continuously so there are no lumps.
  • Cook for few mins and add grated cheese. Cook until cheese melts. Add the herbs and black pepper powder and mix well. Cook until sauce reaches desired(pouring) consistency.
  • Add the sauteed vegetables and mix well. Keep aside for assembly.
  • Assembling the layers Take a square/rectangle dish and grease it well with butter. Spread a thick layer of maggi as the first layer. Add a layer of white sauce over maggi. Repeat the layers as per the size of dish and keep the white sauce as the top layer
  • Grate 2-3 cubes of processed cheese on top and sprinkle oregano and chilli flakes.
  • Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 12-14mins or until the cheese at top starts to turn golden. Let it cool for 5-10 mins before cutting into pieces. Serve hot.
