Ingredients

  • Ripen banana
  • Brown sugar
  • Granulated sugar
  • Melted butter
  • Olive oil
  • Egg (optional)
  • Vanilla essence
  • Yogurt
  • Baking powder
  • Baking soda
  • Chocolate chips
  • All purpose flour
  • Whole wheat flour

Instructions

  • Pre heat the oven on 175 degrees Apply oil to the baking mould and dust it with flour OR you can also use butter paper instead of flour - Keep it ready
  • Sieve dry ingredients together , add chocochips & keep aside (if you want You can also add chopped roasted walnuts at this step )
  • Mash the ripe bananas šŸŒ(using a fork) In a bowl add the butter , oil & sugar and beat at a low speed till it mixes well then add egg and vanilla essence and beat for a minute then add yogurt & the bananas and mix till evening combines well (for 1-2 min)
  • Add the dry ingredients in 2 parts and gently mix with a spatula (do not use the beater for this step) Pour it in the baking tin then level it with the help of spatula and sprinkle some more chocochips on the top šŸ˜‰
  • Bake for approximate 20-30 min or till the knife comes out clean Remove from the oven & let it cool down completely before demoulding & Slicing!

Notes/Tips

* This is a very moist cake so do demould it only when its compl cool down * You can use any Small size mould of your choice but I prefer the 6ā€ Bread tin (small size) as it gives good height to the loaf * Adding egg to the Recipe is Completely Optional * Make sure your oven is very well pre-heated * once cooled down Demould , Slice & dig in ! By The Way goes Very Well with a Steaming Cup of Hot Coffee?
