  • For making thandai powder
  • Badam 7 to 8
  • Kaju 4 to 5
  • Pista 4 to 5
  • Elachi 4 to 5
  • Kali mirch 7 to 8
  • Fenal seeds 2 tbsp
  • Poppy seeds 2 tbsp
  • Water melon seeds 2 tbsp
  • Gulkand 1 tbsp
  • Milk 2 cup
  • Ice 4 to 5
  • For garnish
  • Rose petals

Instructions

  • FOR PREPARING THANDAI POWDER-  In a grinding jar, add almonds, cashew nuts, fennel seeds, black peppercorns, pistachios, melon seeds, dry rose petals, poppy seeds and cardamom and grind it to make it into a fine powder.
  • FOR PREPARING THANDAI  In a grinding jar, add milk, ground powder (3 to 4 tablespoon), ice cube and sugar and grind it properly.  Garnish it with fresh rose petals, pistachios, and poppy seeds. Thandai Powder | Banaras Special Thandai is ready to be served.

Notes/Tips

U can store thandai powder for 4 to 5 month in freeze.
