- Soak the white peas in water for 5-6hrs. In a pressure cooker take 1 cup soaked white peas, 1 potato, ½ tsp salt and 3 cup water. pressure cook for 5 whistles. Open the pressure cooker and mash the peas and potato slightly. In a large kadai heat 3 tsp oil and saute 1 onion. saute 1 tomato for 2 mins add 1/8 cup of water cook it turns soft and mushy. Add ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, ¼ tsp cumin powder, 1/4 tsp chat masala, 1/4 tsp amchur powder and ¼ tsp salt. saute until the oil is released from the sides. Add boiled peas and mix well. Boil for 5 minutes. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Take a cup of ragda in a serving plate. Top with 2 tsp green chutney and 2 tsp tamarind chutney. Add 2 tbsp onion, 2 tbsp tomato and chopped coriander leaves. Add a pinch of lemon juice, chilli powder and yogurt finally, Serve hot.
