Beetroot Halwa

Ingredients

  • 1 grated beetroot
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 cup milk
  • to taste Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cardomom
  • as needed Cashew
  • as needed Almonds

Instructions

  • Take a pan add 1/2 tspn of ghee and roast the dry fruits in it for a min. Once done transfer them into a bowl
  • Then in the same pan add 1 tbspn of ghee and then add the beetroot and cook it for a minute then add milk in it
  • Cook it for 5 to 8 min untill the milk is evaporated then add sugar cardomom powder and cook it for another 1 min
  • And finally add the roasted dry fruits mix it and turn off the flame and Transfer it into the serving bowl

Notes/Tips

You can have it hot or keep it in fridge and have later (Note : the beetroot halwa can be used till 7 days if preserved in fridge)
