- Take a bowl and wash rice,urad dal and soak for 1 hour. Then drain the water and blend into a paste using little water. Take into a bowl and keep aside for overnight. Then take a blender and add beetroot and make a smooth paste with water. Then add this into rice and urad dal batter and mix well. Then add salt,baking soda and mix well take a pan and heat it. Grease it with oil,then pour the batter on it and make a round adai and serve hot.
