Ingredients

  • Besan 2 Cups (200 Gms)
  • Ghee 3/4 Cup ( 180 ml)
  • Cashews ( Chopped) 12-15 Pieces
  • Cardamom Powder 1 TSP
  • Powdered Sugar 1.5 Cups (180 Gms)
  • Almond (Sliced) 9-10 Pieces

Instructions

  • First heat up ghee then add besan and stir continuously until it's colour become golden brown and it become lumpless. Sprinkle a little bit of water in it & mix well to make it a little bit granulated. Pour the mixture into a bowl and leave it for cooling.
  • Add chopped Cashew and Cardamom powder in it. Mix well then add powdered sugar in the mixture. Mix it very well then divide into the portions and make it round to give the shape of Laddoo. Garnish with Almond slice. Your besan laddo is ready to serve.

Notes/Tips

1. Stir continuously unless besan will be burnt. 2. 1st colour of besan will be a little bit of pale but after sometimes the colour will come automatically. 3. When add water the mixture, it become fizzy but don't worry continuous stirring will make it normal. 4. If the mixture become running and laddoo doesn't come in shape then you can add a little bit of sugar or roasted besan in it. 5. Don't add sugar if the mixture is hot. Let the mixture comes into normal room temperature first.
