Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 2 cups Besan (Gram Flour)
  • 1/2 cup Ghee
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1 cup Sugar (Powdered)
  • 1/4 cup Cashewnuts (Crushed)-Optional

Instructions

  • Firstly, in a small tadka pan, add ghee and milk and heat it lightly.
  • In a large mixing bowl add besan (gram flour).
  • Take little ghee-milk mix at a time and rub on the flour. Make sure the flour is coated nicely with the ghee-milk mix. It should hold together when you try to form a ball of the flour. Sieve the flour and discard the residue.
  • In a non-stick pan add ghee and besan (gram flour).
  • Keep stirring until the flour turns brown in color and leaves aroma.
  • Allow it to cool. Add cardamom powder and mix it well.
  • Next add the powdered sugar and mix it well.
  • Add the crushed cashewnuts and mix it well. Set it aside to cool.
  • When the mix is slightly warm, start forming it into ladoos of desired size.
  • Delicious and Irresistible Besan Ladoo is ready. Enjoy it when you crave for something sweet.
