Ingredients

  • 1 cup besan or gram flour
  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required
  • Oil as required to roast pudala
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder

Instructions

  • In mixing bowl take besan or gram flour in mixing bowl.
  • Add black pepper powder, salt and asafoetida. Mix it.
  • Now gradually add water and make consistency thin than dosa. Whisk it for 2 to 3 minutes. Keep aside for 5 minutes. (Don't make consistency like rawa dosa)
  • Now spread ladlefull batter on medium hot tawa.
  • Apply oil and cook it from both side. Our pudala is ready to serve.
