  • Boneless chicken minced 750gms
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Ginger garlic paste 1.5tsp
  • Onion chopped 1 large
  • Tomato puree 1/2 cup
  • Cinnamon 1 stick
  • Cardamom 2
  • Green chili paste 1tsp
  • Red chili powder 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
  • Corriander powder 1tsp
  • Cumin powder 1tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1tsp
  • Cashew paste 1tbsp
  • Beaten curd 3tbsp + 1/4tbsp sugar
  • Kasuri methi 1tsp crushed
  • Hard boiled eggs 2
  • Corriander leaves Garnish
  • Salt As per taste
  • Oil 3tbsp

Instructions

  • If you are a bharta fan, here is a delectable recipe for chicken bharta for you! In a deep pan , add the oil and when it Gets hot, Add in The Chopped onions. Fry the onions until Translucent, then add the ginger garlic paste and fry it till the raw smell of the ginger garlic paste goes away.
  • Now add the tomato puree and salt and Fry it well for 2-3 mins
  • Next add in all the dry masalas and 1/2 cup water. Mix all the masala well with the onion Tomato paste.
  • Add the minced chicken in the masala and cook for 10mins on Medium flame. Make sure the masala doesnot stuck to the pan. Stir Occasionally.
  • Add the Beaten curd and the cashew paste and mix well.
  • Lastly Add the kasuri methi and crumbled hard boiled eggs. Give it one last mix. Garnish with Fresh corriander Leaves.
  • Serve with roti or parathas Now you know how to cook chicken bharta!
