- Strain both the lentils and blend without adding water. Texture should be not too smooth.
- Take it into a big Bowl. Add salt and asafoetida and Beat for 15-20 mins. This will make them super soft nd fluffy.
- Now add cumin and cashews to the batter. Do not overmix after this.
- Heat the oil in heavy bottom wok in medium flame.
- Drop the mixture in hot oil spoon by spoon. Deep fry till golden brown.
- Take a big utensil and fill it up with water. Add 1tsp of salt to it.
- After Bhallas reach the perfect colour then directly add them to the water.
- Now arrange the platter for garnish. Squeeze the Bhalla and dip it into curd once.
- Place the bhalla on platter and pour 2-3 spoonfull of curd over it. Add tamarind chutney and sprinkle all the seasonings.
- Garnish with pomegranate and serve.
- You Can sprinkle roasted cumin and green chutney to enhance the taste.
