Ingredients

  • 1 cup besan
  • 2 tbsp sooji
  • as required Few strands of kesar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2-3 tbsp milk
  • 5-6 almond chopped
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup ghee

Instructions

  • In a pan take water, add saffron strands and boil it. Let it cool down.In another pan take ghee, heat it. Now add besan and sooji. Roast it on low flame.
  • Keep on stirring. Now add milk and stir. Add sugar and roast it along it besan.
  • Add chopped almonds to besan and sugar mixture. when colour is slightly changed, add boiled safffon water. Mix nicely till water is completely absorbed by besan.
  • Add 1tbsp ghee for bringing glaze to it. Switch off the flame, besan halwa is ready to serve.
