  • 4 corn on cobs
  • Oil
  • Cumin
  • Green chillies
  • Chopped garlic
  • Ginger
  • Curry leaves
  • Hing
  • Onion
  • Red chilli powder
  • Turmeric
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Grated coconut
  • Coriander
  • Lemon juice

Instructions

  • Remove the upper leaves of corn on cobs and grate. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds, green chillies, garlic and ginger, mix and sauté for 30 seconds. Add curry leaves and asafoetida, mix and sauté for 15 seconds. Add onion and sauté till turns brown. Add chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix well. Add grated corn, mix well and cook for a minute. Add salt and sugar, mix well, cover and cook till the mixture is dry. Garnish with coconut, coriander leaves, drizzle lemon juice and serve hot.
