Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup boiled kala chana,
  • 1 cucumber diced,
  • 1 med sized onion diced,
  • 1 tomato diced seeds removed,
  • 1/2 carrot diced,
  • 3 green chilli chopped finely,
  • 1 tsp lemon juice,
  • to taste, Salt
  • 1/4 tsp black salt,
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder,
  • as required Some chopped dhania patta,

Instructions

  • Soak kala chana in water overnight. Boil it with lil salt & 1 cup water (adjustable) in pressure cooker. Place the lid, give 8 whistles & it is done.
  • Now take a wok, add 1 tbsp oil, heat it. Add pinch of hing & zeera, let it splutter. Add chana now, stir fry it for a minute. Add lil red chilli powder & garam masala powder, stir fry it until dry. Keep aside.
  • Take a mixing bowl, add all the veggies. Now add chana. Mix it well. In goes both the salt & black pepper powder, give a mix. Add lemon juice, mix it thoroughly.
  • Now add dhania patta, give a gentle stir. Salad 🥗 is ready now.
