- Mix besan, yellow edible color and soda.
- Add water as required and prepare a batter for frying the boondi.
- Pour the batter into the hot oil through holed laddle. Fry the boondis on medium heat for 1 min. Put the boondis aside
- In another deep bottom vessel pour the milk. Let it heat up then add the khoya. Bring it to boil. Let it boil until it thickens.
- Add the sugar and crushed cardomom. Keep stirring.
- Once the milk has thickened, bring it down from heat and let it cool.
- Add the boondis. Keep it covered for 1-2 min.
- Garnish with dry fruits or flowers and serve.
