- Cut out the sides of the bread. Cut the bread into small pieces.
- Mix saunf, bread, maida, rice flour and knead a soft dough using warm water. Set aside for 10 mins
- Roll out 1/2" thick roti from the dough.
- Cut out shapes of your own choice
- Fry the cut outs. For frying use either ghee or oil or a mix of both
- Fry lightly till light brown
- Mix 1 cup water and add the lal Batasha to the water. Let it boil to a syrupy consistency
- Let it cool for 5 mins
- After 5 mins add the hearts to the syrup and keep it covered for 10 mins.
