  • Breadfruit
  • Salt
  • Turmeric powder
  • Coconut Oil

Instructions

  • Peel the outer skin of the breadfruit. Cut it into big chunks. Use a chips slicer and slice the chunks very thin. Heat coconut oil in a kadai, when the oil is at the right temperature drop in the thin slices. You can fry then in 3 to 4 batches.
  • Keep the flame medium high. Once the chips are fried add a pinch of salt and turmeric powder to the pan before draining the chips from the hot oil. When the chips cool down they are ready to serve.

Notes/Tips

Use good quality coconut oil. Using turmeric powder is optional. Store chips in air tight container.
