Ingredients

  • Baguette or French bread
  • Olive oil
  • Butter
  • Ripe tomato
  • Garlic clove
  • Onion
  • Jalapeno
  • Mozzarella cheese or shredded cheese slice
  • Crushed black pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

  • 1) Slice out 4 piece of baguette bread diagonally. Now arrange the bread slices into a baking tray and drizzle some olive oil over them. Also spread a thin layer of butter over each bread and toast them inside the oven at 200°c for 3 minutes.
  • 2) Heat 1tbs of olive oil in a pan and fry the garlic cloves without removing the peel. Once garlic gets slightly roasted transfer them into a plate and allow them to cool. Once they comes to normal temperatures, peel off the cloves and thinly chop them.
  • 3) Now, in a bowl add finely chopped ripe tomatoes, onion and few thin slices of jalapeno. Season them with salt and black pepper. Also add the roasted and chopped garlic cloves. Finally drizzle some olive oil and toss them together nicely.
  • 4) Now, take the toasted bread slices and top them with the tomato and onion salsa. Also sprinkle some mozzarella cheese which is optional. And finally toss them into the oven for another two minutes at high temperature.
  • 5) Enjoy the fresh and crispy bruschetta as your morning breakfast with a cup of coffee..

Notes/Tips

Serve and eat it immediately to enjoy the crispiness of the freshly made bruschetta.
