- Take a bowl and soak chana dal,water for 60 minutes. Then take a pressure cooker and add chana dal,water,chopped tomato, corinader,salt, Turmeric,green chilli paste,butter and pressure cook for 9 whistles. Open the lid and mix well. If you see more liquid,cook on stove for 2-3 minutes. Then turn off the flame and serve hot with rice,roti.
