- Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, chopped onion, curry leaves and saute it. Then add ginger garlic paste, asafoetida and saute it. Now add turmeric powder, red chilly powder, salt, coriander powder, garam masala powder and saute it. Then add boiled cabbage, little water and cook it with the lid on it for some time on slow flame. Then add chopped coriander leaves and mix it thoroughly then place the lid on and switch off the flame. Serve hot.
