  • Capsicum (chopped green, red & yellow)
  • Cooked Rice
  • Onion (small)
  • Tomato
  • Green Chilli
  • Red Chilli
  • Ginger Garlic Paste
  • Chilli Powder
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Mustard
  • Cumin
  • Masala-e-Magic
  • Oil
  • Coriander (Chopped)
  • Salt

Instructions

  • In a large kadai heat 3 tsp Oil and splutter 1 tsp Mustard, 1 tsp Cumin and 2 Red Chilies.
  • Add sliced Onion and Ginger Garlic paste and saute well.
  • Add Salt, Turmeric powder, Chili powder, Masala-e-Magic powder along with tomato and saute till the tomato turns soft and mushy.
  • Add chopped capsicum and green chilies and cook for 5 mins.
  • Further add cooked rice. Mix gently without breaking rice grains.
  • Cover and simmer for 4 minutes.
  • Finally add Coriander leaves and service Capsicum Rice with Raita.

Notes/Tips

If preferred, adding some lemon juice gives a nice flavor.
