Ingredients

  • 1 cup curd
  • 2 cups semolina
  • Pinch or soda
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • as per taste Salt
  • 1 TSP black pepper powder
  • 1/2 TSP red chilli powder
  • as required Water

Instructions

  • In a bowl add semolina and curd. Mix it well. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • After few minutes add all mentioned spices along with the grated carrots.
  • Add water and soda to it.
  • In a kadai heat cooking oil and make Menduwada from this dough, shallow fry these Menduwadas. Serve hot with any chutney or sauce.
