  • Onion
  • Salt
  • Ginger
  • Green chillies
  • Rice
  • Carrot
  • Oil

Instructions

  • Grate carrot finely. Chop the onion, green chilli and ginger finely. Keep a pan on medium flame, pour oil and add mustard seeds urad dal, cumin seeds for tampering. Add the chopped onions, green chilli and ginger and fry until it is light brown. Add Salt and little turmeric powder for the flavour. Then add the grated carrot and stir for a while and allow the carrot to half cook. Keep the flame in a medium so that it does not burn. After 5 mins, add the cooked rice and mix well. Transfer to serving bowl and decorate with coriander leaves. Serve hot.
