Ingredients

  • Boiled Black Chickpea (kala chana)
  • Oil
  • Onion
  • Curry leaves
  • Hing (asafoetida)
  • Cumin seeds
  • Ginger Garlic Paste
  • Turmeric powder
  • Chilli powder
  • Coriander powder
  • Cumin powder
  • Salt
  • Garam masala
  • Dry Mango powder (amchur powder)
  • Chana masala powder
  • Fresh Coriander leaves

Instructions

  • In a bowl mix all the powder ingredients and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in kadai and add jeera and curry leaves and let them sizzle. Add in ginger garlic paste & chopped onions and sauté them till translucent Now add the mixed powder also sprinkle some water and keep sautéing till the mixture leaves oil.
  • Mix in the boiled chana and keep cooking for 2-3 min till the chana is nicely coated with masala , Garnish with the freshly chopped coriander & serve hot !

Notes/Tips

A perfect recipe for healthy & tasty... You can eat them with Chapati but it tastes even better with fried Puri... If you feel it’s spicy you can always squeeze few drops of Lemon to adjust the spice... A Onion Cucumber salad as a sider & you are good to go!
