- Soak Chana overnight, pressure cook with sufficient oil + salt. Strain water.
- In moderately heated pan, add oil, add cumin seeds, allow to crackle, then add onion and sauté till pinkish then add ginger + garlic + chilli and sauté for few seconds. Add tomatoes + all spices and stir fry till spices turn aromatic.
- Add boiled Chana land sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Then add water and cook for 3-4 minutes. Water should be added as per preferred consistency.
- Chana Masala is ready.
- Enjoy with roti / paratha
