Ingredients

  • Chana dal soaked 2-4 hrs one cup
  • Ginger 1 inch
  • Green chilles 2-3 nos
  • Coconut grated 2-3 spoon
  • Buttermilk 1.5 glass
  • Salt for taste
  • Coriander leaves
  • Hing
  • Seasoning mustard hing red chillies curry leaves
  • Jeera 1 tsp

Instructions

  • Grind the soaked Chana dal along with ginger coconut green chillies roughly without water add chopped coriander leaves hing salt mix well make small balls and steam them for 10-15 minutes.
  • Beated curd jeera coconut and two steam ball into blender make it fine thin paste.
  • Heat the pan add blended mixture along with steamed ball cook for 5-10 minutes check for salt requirements. Finally do the seasoning. Garnish with more coriander leaves. Serve with hot rice.

Notes/Tips

Make sure steam balls are not so soft which breakup during cooking.
