- Grate carrots and cauliflower and transfer in a microwave safe bowl. Add oil and ¼ tsp salt.
- Cover with a plastic wrap and microwave for 3 minutes. Carefully remove plastic wrap and let it cool slightly.
- Meanwhile, mix cheese, finely chopped garlic, black pepper powder, bread crumbs and remaining ½ tsp salt in a medium bowl.
- Stir in carrot and mix until well combined. Using your hands, roll tablespoons of carrot mixture into tater tot shape.
- Toss tots in flour and then in eggs. Shake off the excess and then coat with bread crumbs.
- Fry the tots till golden brown and crispy. Serve with ketchup.
