- Cut the cherry and discard the seed and put all in a bowl. Add orange zest, sugar and orange juice in it and macerate the cherries.
- Put it in pan or pot and cook for about 25-30 minutes, stirring it frequently and adjusting the flame accordingly so that it doesn't stick to the bottom and burn. Once it reduces and thicken up add the lemon juice and cook for another 5-10 minutes.
- Put a small dollop on a cold plate and pass your finger through it or leave it like that if it doesn't flood in or is not runny respectively, that means your jam is ready.
