A twist to spaghetti recipe, I tried this flavourful chinese style spaghetti with veggies. It was perfect for dinner. Every one enjoyed this lip-smacking dish.

Chinese Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti - 2 cups
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomatoes - 2
  • Garlic cloves - 3
  • Green bell pepper - 1
  • Red bell pepper - 1
  • Broccoli - 1cup
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1tsp
  • Black pepper - ½tsp
  • Soy sauce - 2tbsp
  • Schezwan sauce - 1tbsp
  • Vinegar - 2tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive oil - 2tbsp

Instructions

  • In a deep bottom pan, cook the spaghetti in boiling water. Drain water and keep aside.
  • Take a pan, heat oil and saute chopped onion and garlic. Add chopped bell peppers and broccoli.
  • Then add ginger garlic paste and black pepper. Saute it.
  • Add pureed tomatoes and salt to taste. Stir well.
  • Mix properly with soya sauce, vinegar and schezwan sauce. Cover and cook the vegetables for few minutes until it becomes soft but crispy.
  • Toss the drained spaghetti in it. Combine well. Serve hot. Enjoy!!

Notes/Tips

1. Don't overboil the spaghetti. 2. Toss nicely all the elements and combine well. 3. If made in advance, reheat it and serve hot.
