Sesame Laddoo is a healthy and decious vegan recipe. It is also a Makar Sankranti special sweet. Sesame Laddoos are a very great source of fibres, which contain a plenty of plant protein. It helps to prevent cancer.

Choco Sesame Jaggery Laddoo

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup grated Jaggery
  • 1 cup sesame, roasted and ground
  • 1/2 cup whole sesame
  • 1 cup peanuts, roasted, peeled, gound not too f
  • 1/2 tbsp ghee
  • 1/4 cup hazelnut spread
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate
  • Whole sesame seeds for garnishing

Instructions

  • Roast and grind peanuts & sesame (keep 1/2 the sesame whole)
  • In a pan, add ghee & jaggery till it melts and starts bubbling. Add 1 tbsp milk. Add all the ingredients and mix well.
  • While the mix is still warm, start making laadoos. Keep them in the fridge for 10-15 min and then reshape into a better shape.
  • Once properly chilled, melt chocolate on a double boiler. Dip laaddoos into it and then in sesame !

Notes/Tips

Do not put your hands in the jaggery mixture while it's too hot !
