Chocolate Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • Dark Chocolate/Milk Chocolate
  • Milk
  • Butter
  • Bread
  • Custard powder
  • Chopped walnuts, almonds
  • Sugar

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a pan and add chopped chocolate along and melt .
  • Add a cup of milk and mix well but donot boil
  • Add bread pieces to it and mix well until the bread absorbs the moisture Add some more pieces if the mixture is too runny
  • Add the chopped dry fruits and give a good mix and turn off the flame.
  • This mixture can be cooled and served as it is or can be shifted to cups to serve with custard sauce. Pour the mixture into greased cups and allow it to set for half an hour and then serve with the sauce
  • For the Custard sauce Boil 1 cup of milk and add the sugar In another bowl mix the custard powder along with the left mik and add to the boiling milk and prepare a sauce. Sauce shouldn't be too thick Allow the sauce to cool
  • Now unmould the chocolate Bread Pudding and serve with Custard Sauce

Use Whole wheat bread for a healthier version
