Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly prepared dessicated coconut
  • 1 tbsp dark cocoa powder
  • 1.5 tsp Chocolate vermicelli
  • Handful cashewnuts, almonds (coarsely crushed)
  • as required Just a dash of salt
  • as required Few drops of pineapple essence
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • a Milkmaid

Instructions

  • In a pan put freshly grated coconut. Keep the flame slow and saute it till the time, coconut becomes dessicated.
  • Switch the flame off. Heat is enough. Add Cadbury's cocoa powder. Mix well with the dessicated coconut. As it is mixed, add ghee and mix all well. Now switch the flame on. Keep it very slow, as chocolate tends to burn. Saute for sometime.
  • As it's done, add pineapple essence. Mix. Add crushed dry fruits, kishmish and salt. Mix and saute all together. You get a nice aroma. Switch the flame off.
  • Let this mixture come to room temperature. Transfer into a mixing bowl. Put chocolate vermicelli and mix. Next add Milkmaid gradually into the mixture and continue mixing. Bring it all together just like you make a dough.
  • Check if mixture binds into ladoo. If so, stop adding condensed milk anymore. If sweetness is less for you, you can add powdered sugar into the mixture as per your taste.
  • Now mixture is ready... Take small portions and bind ladoos. Chocolate coconut ladoos are ready!!
